Deviation Actions
This is where things will get more quiet on my end and slow. Some of you are familiar with this stage, but this is the time where an animator is fairly busy with behind the scenes stuff. We aren't necessarily inactive, but we aren't also showing too much work or things we're working on. I may throw up a few screen caps here in journals or on my main deviantart to keep the audience knowing that I'm working on the project. Even so, I'm going to keep those few and sparse as to not spoil anything >.>
There is alot of content to be drawn and animated. I'm in the stage where I'm starting to lock some scenes down for animation. The first 30 seconds of CC is almost done (gotta finish dem backgrounds), but that's such a small number in comparison to the rest of the project T.T
Along with animating, there comes to audio cutting of dialogue which I recently found taxing. If I'm not animating, I'm cutting audio. If I'm not cutting audio, I'm story-boarding. If I'm not story-boarding, I'm linearting... so on and so forth. And the cycle repeats in and out of each other.
So, if I had one thing to sum up. Yes, I'm working on Chasm Crossing. XD And I can already anticipate your next question. When will it be released?
Originally, I had a plan to have it released this month or next. But now I see that's impossible due to multiple delays from the project and personal issues. So I do plan on trying to get it out some time in December if I can.
Once I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I will be sure to let you know. In the mean time, enjoy some unused animations from past MAPs and some screencaps

The Future of Chasm Crossing
For the past few months, loads of things have happened for me and Chasm Crossing. I have been focusing more on my job lifestyle now and focusing on making a career as a freelancer, more than ever. But as for Chasm Crossing, things have progressed into a new direction.
More than a month ago, my female VA for Scylla resigned from her role. This caused a set back in plans for a skit idea that I was going to play with, and any future endeavors I had planned for CC. So I announced that CC would go on Hiatus until I knew further more what to do with it.

So what's the future of this group? Well, to still update you guys on Chasm Crossing. Despite not turning Chasm Crossing into a series, I will still work on it and also hint at future releases of small skits/scenarios with these two.
So this group isn't going anywhere, but it'll probably be not as active as it once was. I thank you all for following those update blogs, and being enthusiastic about the project.
IMPORTANT Chasm Crossing NEWS
Soooooooo, today brought up a lot of things. I opened up commissions for one thing, which was going to be small and on the side. I have a friend coming down next week and wanted to make a few bucks to help me through that week. But then something else popped up. A possible job. For a little while. I can't spare details, but if things follow through. Chasm Crossing is going to have to take a back seat.
Which now brings up to my next point. I'm going to make shorter Chasm Crossing Episodes. The entire length will stay the same, but the amount of screentime released per an episode will range from 7-10 mins. If I do this, I feel this will help r
Urgent: Looking for Colorists and Inbetweeners
Chasm Crossing is asking for temporary and urgent help for a scene that is being worked on. I am on a tight schedule, and it would benefit me if others got involve. If this new system is effective, then I will make official positions. But as for right now, I just need help from people till the end of this month.
So, these are temporary roles since I'm not sure how well this will work. I'm trying to develop an entire scene by the end of this month for school, and I need outside help. I've got 30 shots to tackle, and I will be sleepless for a good while. I need people who can just simply fill in the colors of the characters or/and draw inbetwe

Seriously I believe that if anyone could complete this project...it would be you. You're an inspiration just for continuing to plow through it all. It makes me want to get off my lazy butt and do something I want to do. So even if it takes you a few years to complete, I'll just wait for that time! I really think the finished product will be well worth the wait! If you encounter some problems there will be plenty of people willing to help ;D And I recommend you save the project on a backup or something.....because I've heard of too many animators with crashing computers (but whether their computer crashed or not is debatable ^^) Anyway, GOOD LUCK!
